I'm looking for your advice on how to use retatrutide for a 5-month run. My goal is to cut down and really lean up. I'm currently 245 pounds. I would like to lose about 30 or 40 pounds. Do you think that 2mg a week would work well, or should I increase it to 4mg a week?
Retaurtide is definitely the GOAT. I would go with 1.5 to 2 milligrams to start. See how you do with the side effects. Watch out for nausea the first few weeks.
I feel like responses to this are so widely varied. I’d start low and go slow. 1mg and go up from there slowly. I feel like when it feels like it “hits” it REALLY hits.
Bros Reta it is a good option. I would start maybe one or two milligrams the first four weeks. This way you can see how you react to the side effects. Then you can start increasing it as you go.
I've seen studies where people go up to 8 or even 10 mg a week. But in your situation I don't think it's necessary. I would go maximum 5 or 6 mg at the most.
Reta is one of the best. I would do it like this:
- First 6 weeks go 2 mg a week
- Next 6 weeks go up to 3 mg
- Then you can gradually increase it till you get to 5 mg max
The Reta starting dose for your first month should be - 2mg/week
Next, Early Escalation: 2nd month - 4mg/week
After this, Middle Escalation: 3rd month - 6mg/week
Then, Late Escalation: 4th month - 9mg/week
Finally, your Maintenance: 5th month plus - 12mg/ week.
