Time To Build with Tesamorelin (USP SPONSORED LOG)

MsNeuro

Member
I want to thank @US-pharmacies for this opportunity and for allowing me to be the first female sponsored athlete on Team USP.

Why The Restart? Seems there was some confusion over @Neuro and I using the same internet and computer buttttt admin got it all sorted out so im just picking up with original start and then today...

Stats:
Age- 27
Height- 5’5
Off season weight ~125
Stage weight ~ 112
Occupation: ICU RN

Before anyone has to ask, yes @Neuro is my boyfriend!

Background:
For most of my life I have been active and fit, always had a gym membership and always had in the back of my mind that it would be cool to compete one day. Well, a little less than a year ago I took the plunge, hired a coach and began my bodybuilding journey.

My long term goal is to compete in bikini, but my physique when I started was more suited to the fit model category so we agreed to compete in fit model and build for bikini.
It was quite a strong learning curve. I had never tracked macros or had a training plan so rigorous but I trudged through it and got to work!

I did my first show in June, I won the true novice overall, the novice overall and took second in my open class.

I just did my second show dec 12, at Texas nationals where I took 14th. (I know I should be proud of that but I’m way too competitive to be satisfied with that.)

What’s next?
We build. I realize now looking back I didn’t give myself a lot of time to grow before I hopped in two shows in 10 months. So the plan my coach and I have put together is to grow and put some solid muscle on my frame and probably do another national show toward the end of 2026.

Prep peps:
Reta 1mg weekly
Mots-c 1.5mg daily.
Slu-pp 250-750 mcg daily

Growth phase plans:
Macros:
My coach changes these weekly, but currently-
135g protein
176g carbs
45g fat
Total: 1645 Cals

Training split:
Monday: lower body 1
Tuesday: shoulders
Wednesday: glutes 1
Thursday: back and shoulders
Friday: lower body 3
Saturday: yoga
Sunday: rest

Cardio: 5 Steady State sessions for 15 minutes each (hr 130+), 10K steps daily.

Peptides planned:
1-2mg of USP tesamorelin nightly on an empty stomach. Waiting on body to normalize a bit post show before we add in a new compound. Possibly some LR3 later on.

At this time I don’t intend on using any anabolics, but I have no issue with those that do. It’s a deeply personal choice, especially so for women, and at this time it’s just not the path I want to go down.

Once again, I’m honored to be part of Team USP and I look forward to sharing my bodybuilding journey with you all.

1/7 Wednesday:
I took the day off, I was unbearably physically and mentally drained. I went on 3 different walks but essentially took a rest day.

Checkins:
Tomorrow! Hopefully we will get to start the Tesa (from USP) and I think I will probably get a calorie increase. Which im not excited for, eating is the hardest part of all this for me.

My knee has really been bothering me this last week, Ive torn my ACL twice, and have a meniscus tear in both knees… but im too stubborn to get them worked on. So we press on.

Labs are getting pulled tomorrow and then once those are back its GO TIME WITH USP TESAMORELIN!! Im very excited to see what I can build this year with a true off season with a coach I trust and will follow.

Training:

Thanks so much for following along on my journey!

Tuesday 1/13

I worked an extra last night so a little late on the log post! Health labs have all come back, waiting on hormones. Ferritin was a little low (41) will adjust accordingly if coach agrees. Up 10 118lbs now. Show weight was 113. I am absolutely dying to start tesa!

Training:
DB Shoulder Press: 15,12,12,10,10,8
Smith Machine Upright Row: 12,10,10,8
Cuffed Later Raise: 10,10,10
60 Degree Incline Bench Face Pulls: 12,12,10
Incline DB Y raise: 10,10,12
DB Chest Supported Lateral Raise: 10,10,10

No cardio, but getting 10k steps in a day. Sometimes more when I’m at work!

1/15 Thursday
Check in day: Bad news.

My creatine Kinase was elevated. So my coach benched me for a week and told me to focus on hydration, and resting. It was the day after a pretty brutal leg day, buttttt I guess it’s better to play it safe. Thankfully with good labs a CK test is crazy cheap and I will retest mid week next week.

When I came on board with USP I definitely didn't expect to be put in a holding pattern for this long, but I know it's my health and I can't risk it etc etc etc. So for the next week at least I am only doing 10,000 steps a day.

Thanks for following along!

congrats on the sponsorship! that's huge. being an ICU nurse and finding the time to prep for shows is honestly insane - i don't know how you healthcare workers do it with those shifts.

your 14th place at nationals is still a big deal even if the competitive side of you hates it lol. those stages are no joke. definitely smart to take a long off-season to actually fill out that frame for bikini. looking forward to seeing the progress with the tesa, i've heard great things about it for keeping the midsection tight during a build. good luck with the growth phase!

Tuesday 1/20

I am still in no gym jail. Prioritizng walking and hydration right now waiting for the go ahead to retest my CK. Im telling myself it was simply nothing more than a hard workout the day before labs, and this will just be a minor blip on the radar come next week! Sorry for the short updates as theres nothing really for me tell because im in training jail!

Thursday 1/22

Got my repeat CK drawn today. Checkins with my coach today and she still has me in a holding pattern until labs come back. I couldnt take another day of doing nothing so I went to the gym and walked very slowly for about 45 min, stretched and did some light abs. Have some more peptides from USP on the way since Tesa has been on hold so long they were kind enough to hook me up. Thanks for following along!

Friday 1/23

CK came back normal! I have been removed from timeout!! I was given the green light to train today from coach. Thank god as I was about to lose my mind. I feel well rested and recovered after the week off. I will take my first shot of tesamorelin in the morning after work! ABOUT DAMN TIME! I want to thank USP and team USP for being patient with me and my coach!

Legs:
Glute Focused Belt Squat: 8,10,12,10,10,18
Glute Focused Static Lunge: 10,10,10
B stance DB RDL:12,12,10
Smith Machine Reverse Hyper: 12,12,10
Cable Glute Kickback: 12,12,10

Macros are still the same, and now its time to GROWWWWWW!

Monday 1/26

Started Tesa on saturday morning, Sleep definitely felt deeper, and the same for sunday but its very hard to judge sleeping during the day. Im only using 1 mg right now so not expecting drastic changes but dont want to blow up like a water buffalo by going up too fast. So I will probably stay here for at least a couple weeks.

Legs:
Hack Squat: 10,12,10,10,8
Hip Thrust: 12,12,10,8
Walking Lunges: 12,12,12
Prone Frog Leg Raise: 12,12,12
Leg Extensions: 10.,10,10,10
Adductor Machine: 15,15,15

Tuesday 1/27

I slept so deep last night! Im usually sore after my monday leg day nut today I feel very recovered.. I Obviouusly know Tesa isnt the only possible reason for this but either way I do feel good and know i trained super hard yesterday so I will Take it. Maybe starting to see a little of the water weight commonly associated with tesa but im sure i will adapt.

Training:
DB shoulder press:10,10,12,10,10,8
DB Upright Row: 12,10,8, 8
Cuffed Cable Lateral Raise: 12,10,8,8
60 degree incline bench face Pulls: 12,12,10
Inline DB Y raise: 12,12,12,
DB Chest Supported Lateral Raise 12,10,10

Macros:
P 135, C 160, F 45 Total Cal:1585

10k steps a day.
